About us
SciFun is a program for high school students to enhance learner’s understanding of biotechnology and receive hands-on experience extracting DNA from fruits and vegetables while making observations of the process.
The SciFun curriculum is a collaborative product of Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization Science Centre and the Boyce Thompson Institute. This curriculum is funded through grants provided by Corteva AgriscienceTM and Alliance for Science.
