Lenganji Sikapizye

Lenganji Sikapizye is a journalist who currently works as a program assistant for the National Science and Technology Council, a statutory body that regulates Zambia’s science sector.

Lenganji has eight years of experience working in science communications and has coordinated several advocacy programs that popularize science. His work includes organizing science conferences, managing social media platforms, writing feature articles and liaising with the media. He also runs a blog called Sciepage, which covers key issues of concern in science such as climate change.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations from Cavendish University Zambia, a diploma in journalism from Evelyn Hone College and a certificate in international relations from the Zambia Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations.

He hopes the GLFP will help him learn the art of packaging science information in a way that will connect with ordinary people in Zambia.
