Eliane Bayala

Eliane Bayala is a 2019 Winkler Family Foundation Fellow.

Eliane Bayala is an assistant coordinator at the Open Forum on Agricultural Biotechnology (OFAB) in Burkina Faso, where she is responsible for OFAB’s communication and activities visibility.

Eliane has a master’s degree in business law and a bachelor’s in communication.

She decided to join the GLFP because she views it as a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world who share the same concern: fighting for food security. She hopes the program will allow her to improve her knowledge of science and especially agricultural biotechnology, which she sees as a serious alternative to take into account for food and nutritional security around the world. The right information associated with good communication strategy can allow us as science advocates to gain credibility and thus strengthen people’s confidence in the solutions that science offers to make life better on earth.
