About us
Speaking Science is part of a collaboration between the Alliance for Science and the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) which aimed to create multimedia communications plan to amplify positive awareness of select and innovative FFAR investments; increase effective communications about gene editing in agriculture and support a favorable enabling environment by developing an evidence-based gene editing messaging kit.
The Speaking Science communication toolkit was developed in 2022 in partnership with Tuskegee University and the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR), to help amplify the voices of students who are under-represented in the field of agricultural biotechnology by empowering them with effective tools for communicating about gene editing.
